Hudson & Thompson Flowers is a studio-based florist located in Chorley, with over 12 years of experience in the floral industry.

From an early age, I was captivated by the beauty of gardens and flowers, thanks to my granny who nurtured my passion with her own green fingers.

After school, I would wander into the local florist, mesmerised by the vibrant displays and the artistry of arrangement. And the smell!! That heavenly flower shop smell. Even now when the workshed is full it is amazing and never gets old.

Initially, I pursued a business career, but after the joyful arrival of my three children, I felt a calling to retrain and follow my heart's desire. I became one of the first studio-based florists in the area, specialising in weddings and funerals, bringing my unique touch to each occasion.

Over the past seven years, I have also embraced teaching through flower workshops, hosting seasonal classes that allow others to discover the joy and creativity of floral design.

My journey, rooted in childhood wonder, continues to blossom as I share my love for flowers with the community.

I hold a degree in Business & Finance from the University of Manchester. Following this, I graduated from Myerscough College with a Level 3 qualification in Floral Art, having first completed Level 2 at Wigan & Leigh College in floral mechanics.

This academic background, combined with practical experience, allows us to deliver exquisite and creatively designed floral arrangements for weddings, funerals, and special occasions.

We also offer fresh flower deliveries, artificial flowers, plants, and a selection of thoughtful gifts to cater to our clients' diverse needs.
